Quick-witted hellion Lucianna Constantine has no doubt who was responsible for the death of her dear friend. And she will stop at nothing to expose his transgressions—and those of every despicable man in London. Lucianna has witnessed the cruelty of London’s beau monde her entire life…starting with her own father. So she is more than willing to singlehandedly take down every vile man that crosses her path.

Roderick Crofton, the Duke of Montrose, had his entire family fortune stolen when his father trusted the wrong men. After a scandalous article surfaces in the London Daily Gazette, written by the notorious Mayfair Confidential columnist, Roderick finds himself financially destitute, without a betrothed, and lacking the means to find the lords responsible for duping his sire. With little option left, Roderick has only one choice: find another wealthy heiress to wed. His quest brings him to Lady Lucianna Constantine, and soon, he can’t deny that he wants her for more than just her dowry.

However, Luci has secrets that could change everything. And when Roderick uncovers what those confidences entail, it could mean misfortune for all involved.

What is your work schedule like when you're writing?

When I’m writing? Well, I can honestly say that writing is my entire life…only overshadowed by my daughter’s hectic baseball schedule. Many writers find their ultimate zen or best working hours in the evenings and nights, but I’m the opposite. My most fulfilling writing hours are in the early morning. In fact, I’m typing this at 5:38am. On average, I write about 5-7 hours per day and handle 2-4 hours of other related business tasks. Making the switch from weekend warrior writer to full time writer came with an average of 3 additional work hours per day. I can say I don’t regret leaving my full time employment as an office manager/accountant to embrace my passion for writing.

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?

What surprised me most is that the more books I write, the more books I have the drive to write. With each book I complete, I have ideas for four more. Many in my life were worried I’d ‘run out of story ideas’ after years of writing, but, fortunately, that has not been the case. Quite the opposite, in fact.

What projects are you working on at the present?

With the release of THE MISFORTUNE OF LADY LUCIANNA, my next book, THE MISADVENTURES OF LADY OPHELIA, is in the final stages of editing for release in July. Currently, I’m writing ADELINE, LADY ARCHER’S CREED (BOOK THREE) and plotting two Christmas novellas.

What do your plans for future projects include?

Oh, I have so many projects coming later this year and early 2018; three Christmas novellas (two in anthologies and one standalone), completion of my CRAVEN HOUSE SERIES, a collective group project with twelve other authors, and two fresh new Regency series

What is your favorite part of The Misfortune of Lady Lucianna?

I LOVED writing Lucianna, a fearless hellion who allowed no man, even her abusive father, hold her back from living her life…on her terms. Unfortunately, or fortunately for readers, she met the one man who loved her for HER. The Duke of Montrose meets Lady Lucianna in a most unconventional way—and their journey continues despite Luci’s insistence that men and love were not for her.

Thank you Christina for being so gracious and answering my questions!
